"El Renacimiento" - Popular Spanish themes for harp, cello and narrator.
Over the 17, 18 and 19th century, the musical Spain is under the influence of the Italian fashion and composers seem to forget their popular traditions. During the 19th century, the composer and professor Felipe Pedrell (1841-1922) completed his Cancionero Musical Popular Español, an anthology of the vocal and instrumental popular Spanish music. He is viewed as the precursor of the Spanish music of the 20th century. His opus inspired the new generation of musicians, dramatists, painters and philosophers of the Spanish Renaissance.

Music record for bandoneon and cello
The melting between the cello and the bandoneon gives a result very similar to human voice. Unifying the former, a pilar of the european music of classic style, and the latter, adopted in South America and expressing itself in a much more spontaneous way, it together builds a great fraternal reconciliation.
